Properties and Applications:
Easily soluble in ethanol in red, soluble in hot wate and rcold water for the red purple. The dye solution with sodium hydroxide solution nearly colorless, but with sodium hydroxide solution nearly colorless, but with red precipitate. The strong sulfuric acid for yellow brown, diluted nearly colorless. Used for wood, leather, feathers, paper, bamboo, shading. Also used for acrylic, silk, cotton and wool cloth dyeing tannins mordant dyeing.
